Familiars

Hire a familiar.

Small standing agents that do your recurring work on schedule, hand you a finished deliverable every time, and take orders over WhatsApp.

Why familiars

Standing agents with a personality, a job and a schedule.

Give it a job once. It keeps showing up.

  • Every familiar has a standing job: an instruction, a cadence and an autonomy level. It runs on its own and produces a deliverable as a done card each time, not just a notification.
  • Each familiar has its own chat. Tell it “move this to Fridays” or “also check the GitHub PRs” and it updates its own schedule and instructions.

Your whole crew, in WhatsApp.

  • Members text one shared Taskpend number. They can send voice notes and photos, sign up inside WhatsApp, and get replies with buttons and results.
  • Every familiar is reachable from that same chat. You can ask for a run now, approve its output, or pause it from your phone without opening a laptop.

Real work, real review.

  • Familiars are backed by specialist agents (Chief of Staff, PM, Researcher, Engineer, Personal Assistant), use your connectors (Google, Slack, Jira, GitHub), and can send the cloud browser agent on errands using your saved-login vault.
  • Output goes through the agent kanban (Working → Needs input → Review → Done), and Done needs human acceptance. The browser agent stops for you before any payment.

How it works

Three steps, then it keeps showing up.

  1. 01

    Give it a job.

Describe the work in plain words, in the app or as a WhatsApp voice note. Pick a cadence and how much it can do without asking.

  2. 02

    It shows up and delivers.

On every run your familiar does the work with the right specialist agent and your connected tools, then posts a done card with the result.

  3. 03

    Steer it like a teammate.

Reply in its chat to approve, redirect, or change its schedule. It updates itself. You can do all of this from WhatsApp.

Meet some familiars

One friendly species, many jobs.

Each creature is generated from its task, and its accessory says what kind of work it does.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

Is this just a scheduled prompt?

No. A familiar has a standing job, a chat you can steer it from, specialist agents and connectors behind it, and a deliverable at the end of every run that goes through human review.

Can I manage familiars from WhatsApp?

Yes. Text the shared Taskpend number to trigger a run, approve a done card, change a schedule or pause a familiar. Voice notes and photos work too.

Can a familiar spend money?

Only with your approval. The browser agent stops before any payment and waits for you.

What happens to my logins?

The browser agent uses the saved-login vault, so you don't paste passwords into chat.

Can my team use them?

Yes. Familiars live in your company's task tree, and members reach Taskpend through the same shared WhatsApp number.

What would you never do again if someone just handled it?

Give that job to a familiar.
